Aluminum sheets are usually divided into the two categories as follows:
1. Divided into the following by the composition of the alloy:
(1) High purity aluminum plate ( made of high purity aluminum over 99.9 by rolling ) .
(2) Pure aluminum plate (basically made of pure aluminum by rolling) .
(3) Aluminum alloy plate (made of aluminum and auxiliary alloy, usually containing. aluminum-copper, aluminum-manganese, aluminum-silicon, aluminum-magnesium and other series) .
(4) Composite aluminum plate or brazing plate (achieve aluminum plate materials of special purposes through compositing a variety of materials) .
(5) Aluminum-clad aluminum plate (coated with thin aluminum plate outside the aluminum plate for special purposes) .
2. Divided into the following by thickness: (in mm)
(1)Thin aluminum sheet : 0.15-2.0 ;
(2) Regular aluminum sheet : 2.0-6.0 ;
(3) Intermediate aluminum plate: 6.0-25.0 ;
(4) Thick aluminum plate: 25-200 ;
(5)Extra thick aluminum plate : over 200 ;
