Classification:

Characteristics

As a kind of high-strength hard aluminum, it can be strengthened by heat treatment, can achieve intermediate plasticity in the state of annealing, initial quenching and thermal condition with good spot weldability. The aluminum tube has the tendency to form inter-granular cracks with gas welding and argon arc welding;The machinability of the aluminum tube is still good after the quenching and cold hardening, but is no longer good in the annealing state. It has low corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance is often improved by applying methods of anodic oxidation treatment and coating or by adding cladding aluminum layer on the surface. It can also be used as a die and tooling material.
